SELECTION GUIDE

Industrial I/O Connector Selection Guide

RJ45: the industrial network port

Listed RJ45 jacks carry a 750-cycle mating rating with glass-filled PBT housings rated UL94V-0 — the standard wired-network port on industrial controllers, gateways and panel equipment, in tab-up/tab-down and shielded variants per the drawings.

HDMI: display output

HDMI receptacles are 19-position parts at 0.40mm and 0.50mm contact pitch, with listed durability classes of 1500, 5,000 and 10000 cycles. Like USB, choose the durability class from how often the port is actually mated in service.

D-Sub: the survivor interface

D-Sub remains the serial/parallel workhorse of industrial control. Listed models cover 9, 15, 25 and 37 positions at 2.77mm pitch with brass or steel shells. If your legacy D-Sub source has gone end-of-life, send the drawing — KINGCONN evaluates supply from existing tooling.

SATA: internal storage attach

SATA connectors are listed at 1.27mm pitch in 3.50mm and 4.20mm heights with a 500-cycle rating — sized for drive connections made a handful of times over an equipment life, not for hot-swap bays.

Shortlist and RFQ

All published values carry their source drawing numbers. Browse RJ45, HDMI, D-SUB and SATA, or email service@kingconn.com.tw with the interface list for your panel and the Taoyuan R&D team will quote against drawings.
