SATAConnectors (SATA 7+15 pin Receptacles & Plugs) · 9 models

A SATA connector (SATA receptacle, 7+15 pin) is the combined data-plus-power interface that lets hard drives, SSDs and optical drives plug directly into a motherboard or backplane, used in industrial PCs, NAS, server backplanes and storage modules. The KINGCONN SATA series has 9 models: 7+15P vertical SMT with ground tab, top-mount and bottom-mount side-entry SMT receptacles (H:4.20, H:3.50), a CH6.1 receptacle, a 7+12P vertical type, a 7+15P 1.0 board-clamp plug and a power cable, 1.27mm pitch — each with a downloadable engineering drawing on its part page.

How do I request a drawing or samples for SATA?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
Can SATA be customised?
Yes. The Taoyuan R&D team covers the full path from design and tooling to volume production, including medical-device ODM experience. Send us the application and the requirement, and sales and engineering will assess it together.
Vertical or side-entry SATA receptacle?
It follows how the drive sits: a drive plugged straight into the board (backplane, hot-swap bay, direct-mount SSD) takes the vertical type; a drive lying flat with a cable or adapter coming in from the side takes side entry, top- or bottom-mount to match the drive centre line (this series offers H:4.20 and H:3.50). The KINGCONN SATA series has both, stated in the part description.
What is the difference between SATA 7+15 pin and 7+12 pin?
7+15 pin is the standard SATA data-plus-power interface (7 signal pins, 15 power pins) common to drives and SSDs; 7+12 pin is a variant with a shortened power segment used only with devices built for it, and the two do not intermate. Both are in this series.
Is there a drawing for each SATA connector?
Yes. Click any part card on this page to open the part page and download its engineering drawing (PDF); the dimensions, materials and plating in our spec tables are transcribed from those drawings.
