How do I request a drawing or samples for SD 4.0?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
Can SD 4.0 be customised?
Yes. The Taoyuan R&D team covers the full path from design and tooling to volume production, including medical-device ODM experience. Send us the application and the requirement, and sales and engineering will assess it together.
What is the difference between an SD 4.0 socket and a standard SD socket?
An SD 4.0 (UHS-II) socket has a second row of contacts so a UHS-II card can use its high-speed interface; a standard SD socket has a single row of contacts. A UHS-II socket accepts UHS-I cards, while a UHS-II card in a standard socket runs at UHS-I speed. KINGCONN lists both.
What is the difference between 17-pin and 19-pin SD 4.0 sockets?
Both are UHS-II dual-row sockets; the extra contacts of the 19-pin type provide card-detect and write-protect detection. Choose 19 pins when firmware must know whether a card is present or read the write-protect switch. Pin counts are in the comparison table and on the drawings.
Is there a drawing for each SD 4.0 socket?
Yes. Click any part card on this page to open the part page and download its engineering drawing (PDF); the dimensions, materials and plating in our spec tables are transcribed from those drawings.
