DIMM(DDR)Socket Connectors (SO-DIMM Memory Sockets) · 5 models

A DIMM(DDR) socket connector (SO-DIMM socket, memory socket) takes laptop-format SO-DIMM memory modules in industrial PCs, embedded boards, NAS and networking equipment. The KINGCONN DIMM(DDR) series has 5 models: DDR2 200P (H:5.2mm, standard and Reverse), DDR4 SO DIMM 260PIN standard (H:5.2mm and H:9.2mm) and DDR5 262P (H:4.0mm) — each with a downloadable engineering drawing on its part page.

3 of the 5 part numbers in this series state this parameter on the drawing: 0.60 mm (2 part numbers); 0.50 mm (1 part number)
How many contacts can DIMM(DDR) be supplied with?
Contact counts span 200–200; the values offered are: 200
What is the mated height of DIMM(DDR)?
2 of the 5 part numbers in this series state this parameter on the drawing: 9.20 mm (1 part number); 4.0 mm (1 part number)
What materials and plating does DIMM(DDR) use?
Housing: 4 of the 5 part numbers in this series state this parameter on the drawing: LCP,UL94V-0 (3 part numbers); LCP,UL94V-0,COLOR:BLACK (1 part number)
Contacts: 4 of the 5 part numbers in this series state this parameter on the drawing: PHOSPHOR BRONZE (4 part numbers)

What mounting and body types does DIMM(DDR) offer?
1 of the 5 part numbers state a type in their description: REVERSE (1 part number)
How do I request a drawing or samples for DIMM(DDR)?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
Can DIMM(DDR) be customised?
Yes. The Taoyuan R&D team covers the full path from design and tooling to volume production, including medical-device ODM experience. Send us the application and the requirement, and sales and engineering will assess it together.
Can a DDR5 module be fitted in a DDR4 SO-DIMM socket?
No. DDR4 SO-DIMM has 260 pins and DDR5 has 262, with different key positions, so a module cannot be seated in a socket of the wrong generation; the same applies to DDR2 200 pin. Choose the socket by the generation the chipset supports — KINGCONN lists all three.
How do I choose the height of a SO-DIMM socket?
Height is the distance between the seated module and the motherboard: a single socket takes a low model (this series has H:4.0 and H:5.2mm); when two sockets are stacked, the upper one takes the tall model (H:9.2mm) to clear the lower module. Heights are on each part description and drawing.
Is there a drawing for each DIMM(DDR) socket connector?
Yes. Click any part card on this page to open the part page and download its engineering drawing (PDF); the dimensions, materials and plating in our spec tables are transcribed from those drawings.
