USB 2.0Connectors (USB Type-A / Type-B Receptacles & Plugs) · 5 models

A USB 2.0 connector (USB Type-A / Type-B receptacle) is the most common USB port, used in industrial PCs, gateways, POS terminals and charging modules. The KINGCONN USB 2.0 series has 5 models: a vertical SMT receptacle (L:10.0mm), a 90° DIP right-angle receptacle, a reversible Type-A receptacle, a high-current receptacle (H:6.5mm) and a mid-mount plug — each with a downloadable engineering drawing on its part page.

How do I request a drawing or samples for USB 2.0?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
Can USB 2.0 be customised?
Yes. The Taoyuan R&D team covers the full path from design and tooling to volume production, including medical-device ODM experience. Send us the application and the requirement, and sales and engineering will assess it together.
DIP or SMT for a USB 2.0 receptacle?
Exposed panel ports with frequent plugging take the 90° DIP right-angle type, whose through-hole legs carry the pull force; internal ports, adapter boards and reflow-only lines take the vertical SMT type. The KINGCONN USB 2.0 series has both, stated in the part description.
What is a reversible USB Type-A receptacle?
Its contacts are double-sided so a USB plug mates either way up, for products where the user cannot see the port orientation. This series includes one reversible Type-A receptacle, marked Reversible in the part description.
Is there a drawing for each USB 2.0 connector?
Yes. Click any part card on this page to open the part page and download its engineering drawing (PDF); the dimensions, materials and plating in our spec tables are transcribed from those drawings.
