SELECTION GUIDE
For host ports, the catalog lists USB 2.0 Type-A receptacles (2.00mm contact pitch, 6.5mm listed height) and USB 3.0 Type-A versions with 1.00mm-pitch added contact rows and the blue housing convention. Choose by the data generation your controller provides — the two footprints are not interchangeable.
Micro-B models are listed from a 0.75mm board profile with durability classes of 3000, 5000 and 10,000 cycles. Mini-B (5-position, 0.80mm pitch) is long superseded in consumer devices yet still specified in instrumentation and industrial equipment. A charging or user-facing port earns the 10,000-cycle class; an internal service port does not need it. USB 3.0 models list ratings from 1,500 cycles — match the class to how often the port is actually mated, not to the highest number available.
Contacts are copper alloy or brass; housings are high-temperature thermoplastic, glass-fiber filled, rated UL94V-0. RoHS compliant; every published value carries its source drawing number.
