FPCConnectors (FFC / Flat Flexible Cable Connectors) · 5 models

An FPC connector (FFC connector, flat flexible cable connector) attaches a flat flexible cable or flex circuit to a PCB, for display modules, touch panels, camera modules and in-chassis flex links between boards. The KINGCONN FPC series has 5 models: 0.5mm-pitch front-insert back-flip (H1.0mm), flip-lock and flip-lock with latch (H:1.75mm) types, plus a 1.0mm-pitch H2.5mm type, 4 to 80 pins — each with a downloadable engineering drawing on its part page.

How do I request a drawing or samples for FPC?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
Can FPC be customised?
Yes. The Taoyuan R&D team covers the full path from design and tooling to volume production, including medical-device ODM experience. Send us the application and the requirement, and sales and engineering will assess it together.
Are FPC connectors and FFC connectors the same thing?
Essentially yes: both are ZIF connectors for flat flexible cables — FPC means flexible printed circuit and FFC means flat flexible cable — and they can share a connector as long as pitch, pin count and cable thickness match. The 0.5mm and 1.0mm pitch connectors of the KINGCONN FPC series take either type of cable.
Front-insert back-flip or flip-lock for an FPC connector?
Front-insert back-flip inserts the cable first, then flips the rear actuator to lock, so the working space is behind the connector; flip-lock lifts a cover from above, drops the cable in and presses it down, so the working space is above; the type with latch adds a catch for products subject to vibration. Choose by which direction hands or fixtures can reach during assembly. All three are in the KINGCONN catalogue, stated in the part description.
Is there a drawing for each FPC connector?
Yes. Click any part card on this page to open the part page and download its engineering drawing (PDF); the dimensions, materials and plating in our spec tables are transcribed from those drawings.
