Does a Nano SIM socket need a card-detect pin (CD PIN)?
If firmware must know whether a card is present — register on the network on insertion, drop or warn on removal — choose a 7-pin model marked CD PIN; designs that never remove the card after boot, or let the modem detect it, can use 6 pins. The KINGCONN NANO SIM series has both, stated in the part description.
Push-push or hinge type for a Nano SIM socket?
An exposed slot where users swap cards takes push-push (PUSH PUSH), ejecting on a second press; an internal slot where the card stays after assembly takes the hinge or no-spring (NO PUSH) type, with fewer parts and lower height. All three types are in this series, with heights from 1.24H to 1.4H on the part description and drawing.
