When does a USB Type-C cable need an E-marker?
When the cable must carry more than 3A or is marked for USB 3.1 or faster data, the USB specification requires a built-in E-marker chip that declares the cable’s capability to both ends; ordinary charging and USB 2.0 data cables do not need one. The KINGCONN Cable series has a Type-C to Type-C model with E-marker, stated in the part description.
Can cable length and terminations be customised?
Yes. The length in the part description (for example 1 m) is the standard item; length, connector types and jacket colour can all be made to order. Email the application and quantity to service@kingconn.com.tw and the Taoyuan team will evaluate and quote.
