Reverse-Type ConnectorsREVERSE-TYPE CONNECTORS · 7 SERIES · 11 MODELS

KINGCONN currently publishes 11 part numbers whose description states REVERSE, across 7 series: CF (2); DIMM(DDR) (1); MS (2); Micro SD ( T-Flash ) (1); SD (2); SD 4.0 (2); USB Micro (1).

What is a reverse-type connector?

A reverse-type connector presents the card or plug contact face in the opposite direction to the normal (standard) type: it is used when the connector must sit on the other side of the PCB, or the card must insert label-side down to suit the enclosure. The footprint and pin order are mirrored, so a normal-type and a reverse-type part are not interchangeable on the same layout.

Selection FAQ

What is the difference between reverse type and normal type?
The contact face points the opposite way and the footprint and pin order are mirrored. Normal-type and reverse-type parts of the same interface have separate drawings and are not interchangeable.
Which series include reverse-type parts?
7 series, 11 part numbers: CF (2); DIMM(DDR) (1); MS (2); Micro SD ( T-Flash ) (1); SD (2); SD 4.0 (2); USB Micro (1).
How do I know I need the reverse type?
From the mechanical design: which face the card enters from and which side of the board the connector sits on. If unsure, send the drawing or application to KINGCONN R&D and they will confirm which part fits.
How do I request samples or a quotation?
Email service@kingconn.com.tw with the part number. Clicking any part card on a product page also pre-fills the enquiry subject with that part number. Our sales team will reply with the drawing, samples and pricing.
