SELECTION GUIDE
A smart card contact set in a POS terminal or access reader is mated by the public, every day, for years — the highest-duty application among card connectors. Listed KINGCONN smart card models carry a 100,000-cycle minimum durability rating for exactly this duty.
Listed models use 2.54mm contact pitch with profile heights of 1.4mm and 3.5mm. The low-profile version suits slim terminals and embedded readers; check the card-entry geometry against your enclosure early, as the slot sets the front-panel opening.
Housings are LCP or high-temperature thermoplastic rated UL94V-0; contacts are phosphor bronze. RoHS compliant, and every published value carries its source drawing number.
