SELECTION GUIDE

Board-Level Switch Selection Guide

Start from operating life, not footprint

The widest spread in the KINGCONN switch catalog is operating life: listed ratings run from 10,000 cycles up to 100,000, 200,000, 300,000 and 1,000,000 cycles. A detection switch actuated by every card insertion or lid close consumes cycles far faster than a settings button — count actuations over the product's service life first, then shortlist.

Contact configuration

Listed models span 2P to 10P configurations at 1.27mm and 2.54mm pitches, through-hole and surface-mount. Low-profile options start at 0.55mm — thin enough to sit under a card slot as a presence detector.

Where these switches go

Typical uses in the catalog's families: card-detect and cover-detect switching, mode selection, and reset or user buttons on industrial control boards and consumer devices.

Materials and compliance

Housings are high-temperature resistant plastic rated UL94V-0; contacts are copper alloy or brass with silver-based contact surfaces on listed models. RoHS compliant; every published value carries its source drawing number.

Shortlist and RFQ

Browse the 19 models on the Switch series page — each card pre-fills an RFQ email — or write to service@kingconn.com.tw with the actuation count, travel and mounting style, and the Taoyuan R&D team will respond with drawings and samples.
