Memory Stick Socket Continued-Supply Guide

A discontinued format is not a discontinued need

Memory Stick as a card format has left the consumer market — but readers, industrial duplicators, kiosks and service inventories built around it still exist, and a broken socket takes the whole machine down. This is exactly the second-source demand KINGCONN serves: the Memory Stick series and Memory Stick Micro series stay in the catalog.

What is listed

The Memory Stick family lists 7 models at 1.50mm contact pitch; the Memory Stick Micro family lists 11-position models rated to 10,000 insertions. Housings are LCP or high-temperature thermoplastic rated UL94V-0, with copper-alloy contacts.

Matching your original part

Repair purchasing usually starts from the original socket's part number or a sample. Send either — or the engineering drawing — to service@kingconn.com.tw and KINGCONN evaluates a match against existing tooling. Where the original is no longer made by anyone, a custom development can reproduce the footprint so the board layout does not change.

Also reading other cards?

Multi-format readers often pair Memory Stick with SD slots — see the full-size SD guide and the Combo series for multi-card sockets.
