SOLUTIONS
A router, industrial gateway or CPE unit carries a predictable connector set: wired ports, a cellular fallback SIM socket, a radio-module socket and a service port. Sourcing them from one manufacturer means one qualification cycle and one RFQ thread instead of four.
RJ45 jacks with a 750-cycle mating rating and glass-filled PBT UL94V-0 housings for wired ports. For the cellular uplink, nano SIM (4FF) sockets from 1.25mm profile with 5000-cycle durability — plus micro SIM and mini SIM for long-life platforms that keep the older form factors. Radio modules and storage ride on M.2 card-edge sockets (0.50mm pitch, 67 positions, stack heights 3.2/4.0/4.2mm), and USB Type-A serves as the service port. Selection details are in the SIM guide and M.2 / Mini PCI guide.
Networking hardware ships for many years after design freeze. When a connector on your BOM goes end-of-life, send the original part number or drawing to service@kingconn.com.tw and KINGCONN evaluates continued supply from existing tooling — same footprint, no board change.
List the ports on your box (interface, orientation, mounting), attach the board constraints, and the Taoyuan R&D team will quote the full set against drawings — samples included.
